There is a particular reason why I’ve been quiet on the blog front these last couple of months. I’m about to make a decision on a publisher for my first novel, Artemis Rising. This decision has been a long time in coming, and I sincerely appreciate the interest so many of you have shown in its publication news. Well, that is imminently forthcoming at last. (Yahoo! Woot! Yippee!)
Would you like to aid me in this decision? I’ve created a short survey about E-books and wondered if you’d be willing to take a few minutes to fill it out. This survey consists of ten questions that will hopefully lead me to understand how many of you view and purchase E-books. Even if you don’t read E-books (yet!), you can still fill out the survey and let me know your answers pertain to print books in the comment sections below each response. I’m assuming the survey would take 2-3 minutes. I’d sincerely appreciate your help in making this weighty decision. The future of Artemis depends on you!
Clever idea, Cheri! Can’t wait to read your book on either a Nook or in paperback.
Fascinating statistics on that survey, huh!? I’m so glad I asked everyone’s opinion. I’m so passionate about the topic of E-books. It’s the wave of the future and I can’t wait for the future to get here. Wait, it’s already arrived! Can you tell I’ve eaten a LOT of chocolate recently?
Thanks so much, Alice! I appreciate your wonderful support, particularly since you’ve already read my tome!
This is great. Very exciting. So are you thinking of foregoing an offer from a publisher and publishing yourself?
Still haven’t decided yet, Paul. But I’m getting close! Another week, maybe two! I’ll certainly make an announcement when I do decide! What’s going on with your book?!
Great idea, Cheri. I shall be watching the responses with interest; I am increasingly of the view that self-publishing a good product to Kindle makes good sense for a first time author.
I’m buying your book no matter what! LOL Survey a good idea!
Thanks so much, Toby. And I hope very much to buy your books soon too!
Hi Cheri!
I don’t read electronic books yet. I know that puts me in the stone age. I am glad that Fireproof Moth: A Missionary in Taiwan’s White Terror is available on Kindle and Nook. It has sold well through those.
Didn’t I hear this morning something about electronic books selling more now on Amazon than paper?
I’m anxious to read your book in paper. Who knows when I’ll get with electronics?
