Sir Stirling Rehm (yes, that's what my birth certificate says so hush up)

Have you heard about this new form of marketing? I may be a schnauzer but even I’ve heard of it. Book trailers are all the rage these days, as anyone can see with a quick search for book trailers in YouTube.com’s search bar. But will a book trailer work for your novel? Is it worth the time or money? Will it help sell your book before or after your pub deal? How do you go about creating a book trailer?

You’re about to find out the answer to all these questions. Simply stop by the Northwest Association of Book Publisher’s monthly meeting this Thursday, Jan. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

As many of you know, Cheri worked with Axiom Productions this summer to create a book trailer for her novel, Artemis Rising. She said she’s never had so much fun in her life. On Jan. 28, she’ll join the director and directory of photograhy on the Artemis Rising production in a talk about the benefits of video-marketing to a writer’s career.

For more detailed information and complete bios of the speakers, you can check out the NWABP’s Events page:

Hope to see you there! (I’ll be the fuzzy schnauzer in the corner).
